My first and last name is Derek Hall, and my nickname is Bubba. I have a background in professional sports and customer service. After working in various roles, including as an assistant manager at a gas station, a hard goods manager at a retail golf store, and a salesman for Pepsico Bottling Company, I decided to pursue a career in technology. I enrolled in the software development program at Dixie Technical College, where I gained expertise in the Swift and Kotlin programming languages and learned to develop and design mobile applications for native iOS and Android devices. In addition to technical skills, I honed my soft skills, including effective communication and teamwork, which are essential for producing great products. 

During my time in the program, I developed a mobile application that I am passionate about and successfully published it on the iOS app store. I also had the opportunity to teach one of the cohorts joining the app development program, which allowed me to use my natural talent for coaching and instruction. As a previous golf coach and current tumbling coach, I have a strong track record of helping others achieve their goals. I have developed the ability to review and analyze code, identify errors, and provide constructive feedback to my peers without simply giving them the answers.

I believe that my combination of technical expertise, soft skills, and coaching experience make me a valuable asset to any organization. I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and look forward to using my skills to contribute to the success of a dynamic and innovative team.
